I was born in 1969 in Bergamo -Italy-, where I’m still based. Since my childhood, both music and photography had an influence on my entire life and, over the years, melted in a bound that led me to professionally sound reinforcement on theatre performances and photographic exhibitions. Thanks to my guitar and those projects I could travel the whole Europe to the United States. If music and composing reveal, to me, our inner vibrations, photography surely provides a perspective on the emotions lying just below the surface. “Perspective” and geometries have been my key words in my early experiments as a self- taught photographer, where streets, bridges and paths have no finish line or ultimate destination; and details, or defined shapes, are a cut through chaotic ordinary life. Afterwords, never without my camera, the urge to deal with other people’s emotional energy brought me to discover street photography, walking the line between antithesis and darkness of human nature.
