Olga Scheglova

Scheglova Olga, currently lives in Scotland.
She graduated from the University of the Highlands and Islands with a bachelor's degree in contemporary conceptual art.

She works in different styles and genres of art because she believes that visual art always serves the interests of its epoch. Value systems break down, new ones appear, context changes and the perception of works of art also becomes different, so in her opinion a contemporary artist must be versatile.

In addition, Olga is interested in appropriation in art and her dissertation was aimed at exploring this very topic.

The artist prefers to work on high-quality box canvases and uses professional oil paint and texture modelling paste.
