I began my career as a full time artist 19 years ago after apprenticing in a very busy, professional art studio. I currently live and enjoy working in a studio that I share with my partner, best friend and fellow artist, Ron Beller, in beautiful Edmonds, Washington, USA. . . . . . . . .

My main focus is on figurative/portraiture, and my painting style floats back and forth between realistic and a more painterly approach. The representational pieces typically have a minimalist tone, compositions that combine distinct figures with abstracted elements. The painterly pieces are more suggestive, containing figures and/or shapes that capture the essence of a subject, rather than clear details. Some works are a combination of the two styles. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

My award winning works have been shown nationally and can be found in corporate and private collections around the globe. My work has been featured in a Saatchi Art collection and also in Saatchi Art's printed catalog.
