Iron wood sculpture

It was a natural process that began with a trip in the Israeli landscape and continued by investigating the characteristics and personality of the rich wooden figure, that has captured his heart and brought Doron Kilchevsky, to start sculpting it.
His ongoing work focuses on two-dimensional sculpture of an outline: The tree, though he remained faithful to it shape and natural contour. Kilchevsky, first finds his unique tree and then photograph and document it, finally he study the shape, language and adopts all the important characteristics that bring him the inspiration for his creations.
His work of iron combines the strength of steel with the softness of the nature.

Doron Kilchevsky takes the viewers on a journey of wonderful trees and forests, his allowing us to be exposed to the fantasy world of his own and the powerful nature out there.
