Joseph Abdallah

I am Joseph (Joe) Alfred Abdallah, a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Abuja, Nigeria. Born in 1992 in Ibadan, Oyo State, to Nigerian and Lebanese roots, I create across painting, sculpture, and custom prop-making to explore the complexities of human identity, heritage, emotion, and the stories we tell through objects and space.

My practice is deeply informed by my experimental observations and deductions as a child and with a background in sociology (BSc from the University of Ibadan) and my work as a certified art therapist. I blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary narratives, often drawing on cultural fusion, memory, and the human condition. Turning personal and collective experiences into tangible forms. Whether through vibrant mixed-media paintings, hand-sculpted pieces, or functional props that blur the line between art and design, my goal is to evoke reflection and connection.

As founder of initiatives like the Sync Hub, Abuja Sculpture Garden, Nomadic Tech and Art Garden, and the Good Human Foundation (alongside Artnotdrugs Educational Foundation), I bridge art with community impact and creative consulting for projects such as Central Park Abuja and Bhdesigns.
