J. Kenneth Grody is a contemporary realist painter who lives and works in Dayton, Ohio, a city near to where he was born and raised. As a representational artist Ken considers his art to be an interpretation of what he observes around him. His work comprises portraiture, still life's, land and seascapes.

Ken graduated from Wright State University earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus in painting and art history. In addition he studied with several of today’s exceptional painters and portrait artists, including Judith Carducci, Daniel E. Green, and Michael Shane Neal.
