I'm a self-taught artist from the Philippines/Singapore currently living in New York.

My paintings are flamboyant and complex patchworks of colors built upon order through detailed symbols and patterns. This is a reflection of our fundamental search for routine amidst the chaotic vibrancy of life. Thematically, my works capture the moods and spirits that were once entrapped within the urban proletariat – a collective hope in dreams interspersed with the gnawing uncertainty of the future.

Painting has transformed my perspective of the world; the same mundane streets have now taken on a new life as I see design and wonder in everyday objects. It has transformed my frame of mind, providing cathartic release – an outlet for accumulated abstract complexities. Most importantly, it has transformed me, and with that, my future art pieces.
