I am a 54-year-old artist from India, currently residing in Canada. Though previously an Architectural Concept Designer, Interior Designer and an Ayurvedic Doctor, painting has always been a constant in my life, it’s one of my passions that I’ve pursued regardless of my professional ventures, to express and put into visuals, my thoughts, concepts, and ideas. My oeuvre and aesthetic strive to present abstract themes in a semi-realistic manner. Themes which are both accessible, intricately nuanced, and unique. Rather than imposing overt narratives, my theming is subtle and only presents itself on a close inspection, effortlessly integrating into any interior. With colour choices that are bold and vibrant, as a rule of thumb, I aim to make paintings in a positive light with an underlying sense of optimism. I have several professional avenues, but art is a constant. It is one of the passions that I've always had in order to express ideas. I have specific concepts and narratives that I want to tell and a certain way of conveying them that motivates me to put my art out into the world.
