Munawar Hussain

I am a self-taught artist with a deep passion for the visual arts. Although I did not have formal training, I pursued my passion and made it my profession. Relocating to Islamabad allowed me to further immerse myself in my art. I am dedicated to creativity and originality in my work.

In 2015, I earned first position in the Live Portrait Competition at PNCA Islamabad. Additionally, I achieved second position in the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) All Pakistan Art Beat Competition in 2021.

As a professional artist, I primarily work with oil on canvas. My favorite subjects include horses with expressive details, abstract forms, and innovative creations.
