Ajmal Husain

Master in Journalism. Diploma in fine arts. a former political cartoonist of a daily English newspaper. Ex editor of a weekly national journal. Lived and studied in New York.Worked in London and lived and painted in Paris. Currently working in Karachi.
Held many international exhibitions in prestigious salons in Paris.First exhibition held in Bonn, West Germany in 1952 followed by exhibitions in Paris and Madrid. Exhibited in New York,Washington DC in 1954.Also in New York in 1976. I was awarded First prize and diploma at the International Concour des Art in Vichy, France in 1971. I paint, sculpt, work with stained glass and ceramic and hard metal structures. Design rugs and tapestries on commission. For ten years from 1960 until 197I I was the president of the Pakistan national committee of the International Association of Artists. A UNESCO sponsored NGO based in Paris.During this time I came to know many famous and well known artists around the world.
Currently I am working with digital Imagery.
