Ben Mittleman is an artist who is constantly fascinated by the theater of life. These contemplations manifest themselves by combining his love of sculpture and photography, creating a unique space for viewers to dwell.
Mittleman's artistic practice is rooted in conceptualism and humanism. The art works breathe of poetry, quiet strength, and humble attempts at understanding.
His work has been seen around the world: from Japan to Spain and all throughout the United States. He has shown two dimensional art as well as three dimensional and has also had his installation art included in the renowned Currents Multimedia Show in New Mexico. In 2016 he was published in one of the premier fine art photography magazines, Diffusion. He has collected accolades from, The International Photography Awards, Tokyo Photography Awards, Top 5 Artists Sidetracks Gallery, Prix de France, Photo District News Magazine, Caixa Galicia Spain and Diffusion Magazine. His most current showings in 2016 have been in the A. Smith Gallery, Johnson City TX and Sidetracks Gallery in New Hope PA.
Ben Mittleman has BFA in visual communications from Towson University and a Masters in Art Direction from The Miami Ad School. His current theater is in Santa Fe NM.
