These works, 'Objects of Wonder' ~ Still Life in the Age of Illusion ~ are inspired by our culture, its endless illusions and bountiful senselessness which has created, with all of its many intellectually unsolvable questions, its very own, real life, koan, says just about everything about me. I'm captivated by the activity within stillness and I do favor a riddle. My current favorite is this one ~ "If an illusion were to see its reflection, would it recognize itself?"
