Hayley Bowen

I originate from a small mining village in Southwest Wales where my father was a Coal miner. I spent most of my childhood drawing and reading, I escaped into my art, and it's the place I feel most secure in. After an education in art I became a single mother and diversified into other careers as well as art, which has given me invaluable and varied insights. I live in South West London.

Studied Preliminary Foundation Art at Dyfed College of Art, Carmarthen, West Wales, and General Illustration at Cambridgeshire College of Art and Technology, Cambridge, East Anglia.
