Joanna Painter

Born in 1969 in Singapore. I grew up in Devon in the South West of England.
Since 1998 I've been living in the Alpes Maritimes in France where I do art projects with classes in schools and run art classes in my studio. I also take part in art exhibitions and cultural events in the region. Through my work in schools I have done a lot of explorations in art techniques, especially 3D and sculpture, a lot of papier mâché !! We have made some amazing things. This has led me to explore other materials in my own work. I regularly do commissions too

I studied a BA in Art with qualified teacher status at Warwick University
