Lutfi Indriana

Born in the city of Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Working as an independent artist, I initially pursued art because I was born into a family of artists. learn directly to practice making art at home which is a family studio. In 2019 I moved to Yogyakarta, the capital of fine arts in Indonesia. I started working on canvas paintings because it was triggered by cancer. Painting made me strong and optimistic that I could recover from my cancer. I went through major surgery and chemotherapy while still painting, it seems like my recovery and optimism were helped by my creativity. I believe in the power of art as the root of my life and can get through anything by still making art.
