Mario Jaramillo

After a career in business, at age 56 I decided to pursue my passion, conceptual nature photography. During the last 15 years, I have traveled to many places in my home country Colombia and also I have had the opportunity to travel to places like Calafate, Argentina; Iceland; natural parks in the United States; Japan and many other wonderful places around the world. my photographs are very light on editing, only making minor adjustments as I main objective is to portray to de viewer the moment that I had a especial connection in a given landscape or in my different excursions in nature. My photographs are meant to inspire, to make the viewer connect with nature, but more importantly to seek in this connection a sense of inner peace.

I estudien in the United States at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and MBA from American University. My photography has been self taught and it has been a process of more than 40 years.
