Patrick Dean Waters

My work set out to simplify art, find wit and humour but took me to exploring autobiographical areas through aspects of childhood flashbacks. Those past experiences depicted on canvas act as a starting point that now reconcile the present with the past.

Forming a poetics of the unforgotten, allow time through remembrance, to evolve that fragility and melancholy into a more positive role-model status. The hope is for a insight to resolution within a dysfunctional family and obtain insight into the process and collective bereavement.
