Born in India and having lived across the Asia-Pacific region, my work reflects my inner experience of eastern philosophy, spirituality, and the mysticism of nature and form. I express these themes through color, line, space, and light, in a manner unrelated to objective reality. My artistic expression, characterised as ‘lyrical abstraction’ is captured in a series of paintings. These compositions feature a strong common color theory and lyrical correspondence between shape, line, biomorphic form, and pattern. Saturated with transcending energy, my works celebrate life in its simplest and purest form, seeking to forge an emotional connection at a primal level, beyond the reality and boundaries of the canvas.
