I was born on 26th April 1948 in Kaliningrad. In 1965 I went up to St. Petersburg Art College.
My first exhibition took a place in 1975 at a nationwide exhibition in Tallinn, Estonia.
A native of Russia, I have exhibited my work extensively throughout my home country, Estonia, Finland, USA and United Kingdom.
In 1965 I went up to St. Petersburg`s art college(named after N. Rerih). My foremost teacher was Aleksander Rapoport. After six months I was expelled from the college for "formalism" and his love of abstract painting. From 1989 I had no formal job, but continued his painting. My first exhibition took a place in 1975 at a nationwide exhibition in Tallinn (Estonia). From 1978 I have regularly participated in regional exhibitions in Leningrad (Saint Petersburg). In 1982 I received an invitation from the Union of Painters to stage an exhibition in the Blue Lounge (Saint Petersburg) but one day before opening, the exhibition was prohibited. I have staged many personal exhibitions in Estonia (Narva and Tallinn) and Saint Petersburg (Russia), the last one took a place in the State Museum "Tsar's collection" in 2006.Some of Vladimir Titov`s pictures now belong to the State Museum "Tsar's collection", to the Narva Gallery (Estonia), and to private collectors from Sweden, Germany, France and Poland.,
