Painter and visual artist based in Paris, Alain Cabot has been developing a singular work for several decades, at the crossroads of painting, digital and installation. Having attended the regional school ofArts de Tours, the University of paris IV sorbonne Panthéon where he studied history and art history and trained in new technologies allowed him to enrich his training by a multidisciplinary approach that integrates new technologies, photography and digital arts.
His artistic research revolves around the perception of time, memory and the boundary between visible and invisible. Through compositions that mix painting, digital printing, collage and lacquer on sewn canvas, he questions the relationship between man and his environment, between materiality and immateriality.
Digital integration is at the heart of her practice. He uses Photoshop, After Effects and digital creation tools to explore new interactions between still images and movement, between abstraction and figuration. Artificial intelligence enriches his research by bringing unprecedented variations to the patterns and textures of his works.
