Ebulfez Ferecoglu

1956 was born in Nahcivan,Azerbaijan. 1981 graduated from Azerbaijan University of Painting.
1984 Became a member of USSR Painters Union. 1981-1995 Taught painting in School of Fine
Arts,Nahcivan. 1989 Attended a three months painting camp in Livov city of Ukraina and at the end
was given the best performance award by the Russian Council. Thereafter he attended many
group exhibitions and art fairs in various cities of Russia. 1996Became a member of Azerbaijan
Union of Intellectuals. 1997 Started tutoring painting in Press Museum of Turkish Journalists
Association and he still continues teaching there. In addition to that, he continues his studies in a
private atelier in Yeşilyurt-İstanbul with his students.
Many of his works are in various private and official collections in USA, Japan, Denmark, Germany,
Bulgaria, France, Poland, Russia, Ukraina, Turkey and Iran. During his artistic career, he has
attended a lot of group exhibitions and has opened around twenty individual exhibitions. The
artist is a member of International Plastic Arts Association (UNESCO-AIAP).
