Maurice Hawkins

I am RE emerging artist working previously in woven works. Now in my senior years I have a powerful conviction to use my gift increasing awareness for the natural world and also other works to bring lasting pleasure to the viewers. Working mainly in oil on canvas some works take months, They are not limited to any style and include Realism social messages, expressionism and pure abstraction

My art education began at the Bideford school of art in 1971, Followed by gaining a diploma at Kidderminster in the woven side. This enabled me to produce art works in floor and wall forms.
