Hello, My name is Olga Shin, and I am an artist living in Limassol (Cyprus). I paint intuitively as not being schooled in art .I fell that most of my inspirations of my art works have come from my two grandfathers by genes : my grandfather from my mum and granfather from my uncle side, who were both professional artists. Мy main activity that brings me income is business, I am the owner of trading company. Painting is a kind of meditation for me, time to be with myself and my thoughts. When I put a pure new white canvas on my easel there is that moment when I feel everything is within my power and then the miracle begins.....I love painting landscapes, the sea, beach scenes, animals, portraits and floral,using either a brush or palette knife with oil. I love the texture a palette knife brings or the brushes but what ever tool I use ( include my finger ) I paint more impressionistic. With my paintings I want to bring into the world more and more positive emotions and beauty, warmth and kindness, love.
