Elena Pach

Elena Pach currently lives and works in Chicago. She grew up in Kyiv, Ukraine and studied art and printmaking at National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture for 6 years. Elena depicts the essence of life through a semblance of portraiture, landscape and dreamscape. In a digital era, the artist returns to a traditional mode of expression to deal with a contemporary issue; the natural world and the value it holds within modern societies.
She paints and draws the viewer with peculiar scenes where compositions have been stripped from any human life, emphasizing the disconnection in an otherwise connected world. Elena is fascinated by nature abilities to adapt and evolve, making animals and plants her heroes.
