Ana Rodrigues

I'm a Portuguese visual artist whose work is deeply rooted in intuition, emotion, and connection — to ourselves, to nature, and to the voiceless beings we share this world with.

My creative process begins with a vision. I often imagine the composition first — the feeling, the symbols, the atmosphere — and write down a sort of visual script that guides me throughout the creation. While my execution remains organic, the intention is always present and deeply felt.

I work mainly with acrylics and mixed media on paper or canvas, using organic forms, delicate textures, and symbolic elements that evoke feminine strength, spiritual depth, and emotional transparency.

Alongside my artistic path, I am deeply committed to animal rescue. My creative work often supports and funds direct actions to help abandoned or mistreated animals. Through art, I hope to raise not only awareness but also empathy — the true core of transformation.

I believe that art has the power to heal, to open spaces within us, and to restore meaning in a fragmented world. Each painting I create is an invitation to feel more, to pause, and to remember what matters.

I am currently based in Portugal and open to international collaborations, commissions, and exhibitions.

I am a self-taught artist. My artistic journey has been shaped by personal exploration, emotional depth, and a deep commitment to continuous learning. Through practice, observation, and intuition, I’ve developed a unique visual language that reflects my inner world and the causes I care deeply about.

I am currently working to establish myself as an artist in order to create the financial means to one day pursue formal art education and continue refining my technique and creative process.
