Vladimir Veljasevic

It is very important for me that my works do not posses a certain narrative , political or any other message. It is just form or esthetic experience. Through my interest to cut short the printing proceess in the end was developed what I hope my own personal style of expression. Comics and design left a greater influence on me and also minimalistic tendancies in painting and prints. Also the value and the placement of art in the society affected my attitude about art and my work in general. Maybe this sentence be the best definition of my attitude :
Minimal exertion and maximum use of the free forms of wasted time 1.

Vladimir Veljašević has born in 1969. Graduated in 1995. Finished post-graduated studies in 1998, on Faculty of fine arts in Belgrade (graphic dept.).
Finished Phd in visual art – 2015.
Working as an full time professor at the same school.
Vice Dean on Faculty of fine arts in Belgrade, from 2011 to 2014, and from 2016 to 2021.
