Born in Takaoka, Japan—a city famed for its 400-year metalworking heritage—I grew up between my father’s copper studio and my mother’s ikebana classroom. My artistic language is deeply rooted in traditional Japanese craftsmanship, but also shaped by my studies in metal art at Tokyo University of the Arts and California College of the Arts.
My sculptures explore life, impermanence, and emotional resonance through a delicate fusion of materials: translucent resin bones, hand-chased metal, gold leaf, and embedded crystals. Each piece is a poetic composition—a still moment of fragility and strength, silence and memory.
Exhibited internationally in Stockholm, Osaka, and Kyoto, my work invites quiet reflection and heartfelt connection. I hope each viewer finds a personal echo within the layered textures and subtle glimmers of my creations.
