Agnese Melbarde

Agnese Melbārde - an artist, who expresses her individual view of life in a strong and sometimes rough manner using a wide variety of artistic means of expression. She is mostly interested in a person with their inner spiritual world. The new artist provokes the audience transforming the reality, enriching it with plenty of different effects and creating an emotional message. The artist's style depends on the search of her mood - sometimes it's tender and delicately shaded in expanded colour and chiaroscuro compositions, it is fairly decorative and careless at times making an impression about the unfinished state of the painting that is still to be continued. The peculiar effect of paint flawing in some paintings creates the collective mood making the impression of the time flow - everything is running and changing...

Currently Agnese works both in interior design and architecture, creates graphic design, advertisements and furniture design. Whichever sphere Agnese works in, her talent of a painter has always found a special place in her creations.
