Aramais Alaverdyan

.The artist was born on July 30th, 1976 in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. His childhood passed on the Black Sea coast in the ancient Georgian city of Batumi. The bright sun, fragrant greenery, Georgian songs forever remain as vivid memories.
In 1990 the family returned to their historical homeland in Yerevan. The beauty and grandeur of the ancient culture, the diversity of the natural landscape covered with forests and mountain ranges, combined with the centuries-old Christian traditions of the Armenian people, had its unique impact on development of personality of the future artist.
The desire to draw came unexpectedly. Arman received as a gift from his grandmother illustrated book of "History of the Armenian Church", when he was ten-year-old. This became his passion and he started to draw a lot․ His teachers were nature, people around him, everyday objects. He painted with pencils, ink, oil paints, watercolors, gouache, everything, what was available at hand.
Studying at an art school did not bring the expected joy. The young man was bored and uninterested in painting antique plaster heads, ornaments, and educational still lives. In the world around him, he saw bizarre images created by the imagination, the play of light an...
