Alexey Glazunov

Alexey Glazunov – artist – painter – muralist. Born on April 14, 1984 in Kiev, Ukraine, he received his early foundation in painting at Taras Shevchenko State Art High School. In 2002 he entered the faculty of painting and composition at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Kiev. Since 2005, he studied at the faculty of monumental painting of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (with Professor Kozhekov A.V.) In 2008 he completed his Master's degree in fine and decorative arts, monumental painting at the above-mentioned Academy. From 2008 to 2013, he worked on the creation of decorative mural paintings in private and public interiors, among other he participated in the ceiling painting of the Grand Hall at the Riviera Hotel, Kiev. In 2011, the 1st place for the best thematic work at the exhibition MARTS-2011"Picnic on the Roadside" (Kiev) was awarded to his picture “The Dawn. Meeting of Two Worlds”. 2019 - he took part in the group international art exhibition "Genesis" in Dancing House Gallery, Prague, Czech Republic.

2019 – the painting «The Little Architect» was selected as the finalist artwork in the international competition Portrait Now!2019 and presented at the eponymous international exhibition at the Museum of National History, in Frederiksborg castle, which is at the same time the National Portrait Gallery of Denmark.

2018 – there was his personal exhibition “Geometry of Aspirations" in Kyiv at the Museum and exhibition center “Kyiv History Museum”;

2017 - the group international painting exhibition "The Source of Creativity" in the museum of Lee Kezhang, Beijing, China.
