Distilling Nature's Rhythms into Visual Stillness

Rooted in Zen aesthetics and the philosophy of wabi-sabi, my work celebrates the beauty of imperfection, the serenity of nature, and the art of finding harmony in chaos. Each piece I create is a balance of emotional depth and organic simplicity, designed to inspire connection and calm.

Painting, for me, is an act of transformation—a way to distill life’s complexity into something pure, timeless, and beautiful. My process involves embracing fluid, spontaneous marks and then refining them, eliminating anything unnecessary until only essential beauty remains.

Bachelor of Fine Art, Bachelor of Secondary Education, QUT 2003.
