Angie Wright is a contemporary painter renowned for her dynamic floral landscapes that embody the vibrant “Dopamine Decor” philosophy. Rooted in the belief that bold color can spark joy, elevate energy, and inspire happiness, Angie’s work reimagines how art can transform spaces and uplift the soul. Her vibrant palette and expressive compositions fill environments with visual excitement, bringing warmth and positivity to everyday life.

Over the past decade, Angie has exhibited at prestigious venues, including The Ferens Gallery in Hull (2010), The Swiss Art Expo in Zurich (2021), and NYC Art Expo (2023). She has been a top-ten seller at Paris Gallery, Singulart. Her work has been featured in “Artists and Illustrators Magazine” (June 2017), “Tomorrow Magazine” (May 2023), and “Snapshot” (May 2024) and was selected by designer Stephanie Williams for the BBC in 2018.

Her recent work, collected in over 25 countries, merges realism with expressionism to immerse viewers in floral landscapes that evoke themes of hope, renewal, love, and strength. Author, magazine editor, and artist Alyson Sheldrake praised Angie’s work, stating: “Bold, bright brushstrokes sweep across the canvas to create breathtaking and mesmerizing images full of joy a...

My very first experience, of which I have only fractured memories was when I was only 6 years old and at primary school. I won a local council competition, I can no longer remember what it was promoting but I remember being sat at a small table in a classroom laying paint thickly onto a piece of paper. The paint swirled and was gloriously glossy. I could move it around on the paper and it was thick like syrup. I loved the texture and the feel of the paint on my fingers and hands. I remember being enthralled by the possibilities of all the beautiful and entrancing colours I could mix and all the marvelous pictures I could create! I loved colour. I would doodle pictures for friends in lunch break and every school art project was a challenge and felt exhilarating. It never felt like work, it was just an expression of myself.
