An Accountant turned Artist...

Anisa Nazz is a British artist based based in Hong Kong who primarily works in acrylics. Anisa is a self-taught artist with a corporate background, a career she decided to give up during the Pandemic to pursue her real passion for creativity.

Anisa's paintings are defined by abstract and intricate patterns which explore her individuality in Asian culture and what it means to be a woman in this world. With the use of highly emotive colours, Anisa is able to express her thoughts and feelings in a manner more effective than mere words.

Anisa's approach to painting is very organic. There is no plan or perceived outcome in mind, she lets the painting evolve and flow, but is quick to recognise when to stop.

Anisa's eclectic taste in life is beautifully reflected in her work. Even in abstract, her style varies and evolves, however the common thread running through each piece is the vibrant hues , tying it all together.

Anisa has had the pleasure of exhibiting her work in many galleries across United Kingdom. She has now shifted her practice to Hong Kong.
