Anni Adkins

I was born to be an artist. I have been creating art all my life and even made art when I was a child. People often refer to me as "gifted", but I feel talent is a gift and I am very grateful. My purpose in life to share my visions of the world with as many people as possible. I am now 72 years old and have been making and showing art for 60 of those years. I intend to continue to make art as long as I can hold a brush! Enjoy my visions.

I was awarded a scholarship to the Ecole' de Beaux-Arts in France when I was fifteen. I attended that school for two years till I moved from France to the US. I have taken a few classes in various collages but was mostly self-taught. I have read many artist biographies and studied their work.I went on a self-study program in an RV where I wanted to see what Georgia O'Keeffe saw so I traveled to every place she had done her paintings. I say them threw her eyes..It was an ineradicable learning experience and something I would have never gotten in a classroom.
