I am an artist and painting teacher who works in Mexico City. I have a degree by Autonomous Metropolitan University (CDMX), I had studied Art and Design in different institutions, among which the following stand out: Artistic Linkage Unit of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, National Center of the Arts (CDMX), Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla y León (Spain), Centro Popular Mariano Paredes (CDMX), Universidad Iberoamericana, etc. I had exhibited my work in places such as: Instituto Cultural de México in Paris, Soumaya Museum, Poliforum Siqueiros, School of Design La Rioja, in Spain, Cultural Center of Contemporary Mexico, University Cultural Center Tlatelolco, Camiba Gallery in Austin, Texas, to name a few. Among my most outstanding awards and recognitions are: First Place in the Fifth UNAM Authors Contest, First Place in the Ninth Art Show of Grupo Reforma, Honorable Mention in the Second Texcoco Painting and Sculpture Biennial, Honorable Mention in the Sixth Rodin-Royal Talens Professional Painting Contest, Finalist in the Fourth Authors UNAM Portrait Contest, Finalist in the Fifth Rodin-Royal Talens Professional Painting Contest, Finalist in the 1st Painting Contest of the "Circo Volador" Art and Culture Center and Finalist in the 1st International Photography Contest on Human Rights 10.12.48 in Valencia, Spain. My work had been selected in the XXIII Frida Kahlo Painting Contest, II Rubén Herrera National Self-Por- trait Biennial, IV J.A. Monroy, V Biennial of Contemporary Sacred Art, Dr. Alfonso Perez Romo Plastic Arts Biennial, Third CMUCH Art Biennial, Eleventh Puebla de Los Angeles Biennial, First Luis Nishizawa Painting Biennial, Lumen Painting Open, Rodin National Painting Contest - Royal Talens, Rodin-Derwent-Sakura-Hahnemüle Drawing Contest, First Volcanoes Biennial, and XI Joaquín Clausell Biennial. TEACHING I have been professor for 6 years and i am founder of the Arte a Distancia project, in addition to offering advice for the development of projects focused on the visual arts.
