The Held Becoming Painting

Born in 1995, I’m a self-taught artist who paints whatever my mind refuses to stay quiet about. I don’t follow one style or medium — I move between acrylic, watercolor, marker, and gel pen, because my thoughts never stay in one shape either. Some days it’s chaos, some days it’s calm, but it’s always real. I spent 6.5 years doing work that didn’t belong to me, chasing things that never felt right. Coming back to painting wasn’t a decision — it was a return. Something that had always been waiting underneath the noise. My art isn’t planned or polished; it’s instinct. Each piece starts with an emotion I can’t name, then builds itself through color, pressure, and texture until it finally feels honest. I’m not searching for perfection — I’m searching for truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. Every painting is a small confession, a snapshot of my head at that moment — cluttered, questioning, sometimes raw. If there’s a pattern in what I create, it’s only this: I do what my mind demands, and I let it change as freely as it needs to.
