I’m a French-Turkish analog photographer and mixed-media artist, originally from Istanbul and currently working between Brooklyn, Istanbul, and France. My practice is rooted in emotional storytelling, using photography and layered materials to explore themes of transformation, nature, and memory. Since 2018, I’ve been based in Brooklyn, where I focus primarily on analog processes, working with expired film, multiple exposures, and experimental techniques to add texture and unpredictability to my images. My work often evokes layered narratives and fleeting emotional states, capturing moments that linger like imprints on film. In March 2025, I published my debut photobook, Break My Heart, Take Me Home, a project that weaves together photography and personal essays. The book expands on the themes that drive my visual work, offering an intimate look at love, loss, and belonging.
