Stefan Neubauer, born 1971 in Frankfurt/Germany. Photographer for Architecture, Landscapes, Nature, Portraits and Reportages Work with 4x5 inch, Panorama 617 and 6by6 camera body. What is the "value" of an photography art piece? Not that easy to say - is it the idea and the view, is it the work included, is it the production and print, is it the motive and story behind or is it only worth because of "renommee/reputation" and name of artist? A "story" inside or about art/picture is nice, but not automaticcaly necessary - or do you mean, you could give words of explaination to Mozart music or someother? Senseless - Either you like it or you dont. Music is Music, no words cand help for better emotions, art can be so simple! Therefore we are happy to have a soul... What about recognition? Example: I made a charming blackandwhite (my very private opinion))) of a New York Manhattan streetscene - simply by being just there, luck. I pictured a man in front of shop "Psychic Reading" in the early morning hours - this picture is not existing a second time in this big world - in a way it reminds me of the famous Magnum France-American Agency of famous photographers in the world - some years ago, in the early 1990ties! I just recently put the picture for a really very very very reasonable, nearby ridiculous price into Saatchi, End of December 2024, and what happened? I am listet in the Top 100 photos by Saatchi under buzz/keyword "New York" and I have a click number of wretched 21 until today (17.07.2025)! What is this?!!!? Six month and nothing happened, no views, no clicks, no sale... simply desolate. So I am sometimes quite irritated about art itself! I am coming from a different time with quality content. I try my best with my attempt and ask kindly for some attention and interest.
