Ashka Lowman

Ashka Lowman is a contemporary figurative artist whose subjects are generally women elegantly portrayed within various moments of colour and light.

She uses acrylic, oil, pastels and mixed media to design and create unique wall art for people's homes and business decors. Ashka’s creations are developed from her home studio in the south of England with each unique artwork influenced by her travels and life experience.

After her graduation, she started travelling abroad and immersed herself in new and exciting environments, enjoying a splash of colour from the Caribbean and the elegant movement and passionate spirit of Latin America. She started to share these experiences with others in the best way she knew how, through her art, and after getting married in 2004 she settled in England, the source of so much of her inspiration.

Ashka has enjoyed particular success painting women within differing environments of colour, light and texture with each image portraying, through her brush strokes, the varying complexities and sensitivities for various thoughtful moments of a woman’s life.
