Umberto Papale

Started drawing and painting as a child. Later on I went on to study life drawing and printmaking at the London City Lit, and drawing and painting techniques in the Roman atelier Matearts (Rome, Italy). I'm mainly inspired by nature , its creatures and atmosphes and male beauty. I love naturalisic illustration, the human body and facial expressions and experimenting with colour. I'm also a keen collector of antique sterling silver.
I was partly brought up in Britain and partly in Rome, Italy.

m.a. in Modern Languages, specialization in English language and literature, with a thesis on Edward Morgan Forster.
B.A. in Philosophy, University of Rome, Roma3.
CTEFLA, Frances King College, RSA University of Cambridge.

Exhibited in collective exhibitions both in London and Rome.
I have had two personal exhibitions in Rome.
My works are already present in various collections.
