Birim Erol

He was born in June 1987 in Istanbul. His first professional exhibition in 2004.

After graduating from fine arts high school, he went to Onsekiz Mart University. In his early years of university, he opened his art center- Karinca Sanat Merkezi- with the fund that he received from an entrepreneurship event of Avea. He gave art, ceramics, dance and theatrical lessons.

His relationship with art relates to his artist mother.
Birim did art direction and scenic design in 6 plays and besides, wrote and directed 2 other plays.

Birim likes to call his paintings an "expression of senses". He mainly paints the face and the body and is affected by his feelings at that given moment.

He continues his works based on themes like power, passion, love, anger and happiness at his new studio
in Istanbul.
