Charlotte Kelly

While working as a community nurse I attended art college on a part time basis and qualified in 2002 with a diploma in fine art. In June 2005 I resigned from nuring to paint full time. I had my first solo exhibition in June 2006 in Kennys Gallery, Galway, Ireland. I work mainly in oils and would describe my work as being abstract landscape and figurative. Drawing is very important to me. Charcoal, ink and pastels are the mediums which I enjoy using when drawing.
