I am a Brighton based artist who grew up in South London. I studied at Central St. Martins, Camberwell Art College and The London Guildhall.
My work is inspired by nature, but is about memory, feelings and the passing of time. I am particularly drawn to the landscapes of the South Downs, Andalucia and Exmoor - places I visit regularly. I like working plein air, using watercolours or a single black pen, before returning to my studio to paint larger scale with oil paint.
I open my home twice a year as part of Brighton’s Artists Open House and regularly exhibit with the Bakery Gallery on Portobello Road, the Affordable Art Fair, London and the Liberation Gallery in Brighton.
I also take commissions for paintings and sell limited edition giclee prints of my work.
My work can be found in collections in the UK, USA and recently Canada.
In 2023 I was shortlisted for the Women in Art prize 2023 and was ‘Artist in residence’ in January 2024’s edition of Sussex Life.
When I'm not painting in my studio or outside sketching, I can be found creating finely painted murals for commercial and domestic spaces with my business Living Wall Murals.
