RECOGNITION
Crystal’s paintings explore color and texture to create balance and depth. Her fluid process allows the work to emerge in an unedited and subconscious manner. Her preference for ethereal and organic shapes comes through, revealing longtime interests in surrealism, microbiology, and the ocean, specifically coral reefs.
She currently works in the Hollywood TV industry as an Assistant Art Director and is on the path to becoming a Production Designer, all while continuing to develop her art practice.
