Gesture in sculpture in my work of the gesture, which has long been a major theme in painting. but has received less attention in sculpture. but has received less attention in sculpture. In contrast to painting, where gesture is a and momentariness of the medium, in sculpture the uniqueness of gesture is bound up in the is technologically more challenging. This is why I make a significant proportion of my work in wrought iron, and and try to preserve the traces of the sculpture. These sculptures uncreated, accidental, and in the process of making the sculpture gestures of the material, which also allow the material to work to give a sculpture a unique and unrepeatable form
unique and unrepeatable. At the same time, I am investigating
what is the most minimal, the smallest gesture, that is enough to transform raw material into sculpture.
