Denis Gaston is a Clearwater, Florida based studio artist working in mixed-media paintings, drawings and prints. He graduated from the University of Florida, Gainesville, with a BA degree in Art and Graphic Design. Gaston received a Florida Individual Artist Fellowship in 1989 and Pinellas County Art Council Artist Grants in 1990 and 2007. During the past 25 years he has taught, lectured and exhibited at various arts institutions and organizations nationally and in Florida. Three of Gaston's artworks were acquired in 2015 for the permanent collection of Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, Tarpon Springs, FL. His art is also in many private and public collections including Polk Museum of Art, Lakeland, FL, St. Petersburg College, St. Petersburg, FL, Raymond James Financial Corporation, St. Petersburg, FL and Holland and Knight Law Firm, Tampa, FL.
