Dirk Harms

Born 1971 in a wasteland of Germany, called "Uelzen".
"Live" (well, kind of) and "work" (well, just have a look) in Hannover.

In my childhood, i tryed to draw as precisely as i can. I don't know why. Because of my parents, because of school? It was funny, but something's missing. So no wonder, I get a job as an construction-drawer for two years and started studying architecture. On University, i got in touch with some very important persons, who showed me, what "art" really means: Manfred Rademacher and Detlef Kappeler, teachers in fine arts, showed me, what i've missed...So i'm quite a late starter in painting. For this reason, i don't tell myself an "artist"-cause i'm still learning...
