Elizabeth De Sherbinin

I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC, USA and after living many other places am once again living in Raleigh, NC.
I love painting landscapes using either a brush or palette knife with oil. I love the texture a palette knife brings but what ever tool I use I paint more impressionistic. I only use my own photographs for my work to inspire me or to get me going. I hope my art makes one see their own surroundings with new eyes, and want to look at my paintings as a window to a place they may want to be or visit.

Won second place in juried show judge by national renown artist, John Poon at Nicole's Studio and Art Gallery Sept. 2014

Won first place in Silver Art exhibit in 2016 in Wilmington,NC.

Have studied with many different teachers over the 20 + years I have been painting.
