I am engaged in painting the energy of music.Through the combination of improvisation and intention, the work of art develops and reveals an aesthetic experience that expresses tempo, rhythm, tone, mood or syncopation. The artworks are titled after musical terms that anchor the art to the qualities of the music.

'The artist must be blind to distinctions between 'recognized' and 'unrecognized' conventions of form, deaf to the transitory teaching and demands of his particular age. He must watch only the trend of the inner need, and hearken to its words alone.
