Olga Wardega

Drawing inspiration from travels and memories: colours, structures and layers found around me, I paint (also) using installations and video projections. I experiment with the medium of painting, expanding it with various techniques. Through my work, I try to inspire the viewer to experience their own surroundings in a different way. I am interested in abandoned buildings, which I use in site-specific projects. The remains of building facades remind me of memories that fade over time, which I refer to in my art.
I am happy to implement collective projects with musicians, visual artists, dancers and performers.
I took part in over twenty individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
